| At this time, the City of Norfolk currently holds 3-4 auctions a year. The next auction is scheduled tentatively for June 28, 2012 at 6:00 a.m. The Workforce Center in Norfolk. A listing of the properties to be auctioned will be available in the beginning of June at this website, www.vaauctionco.com.
The terms and conditions of the sale will be available at the website as well, which will include information that the successful bidder must leave a twenty percent (20%) deposit the night of the auction, with the balance of the purchase price being paid within ten (10) business days.
The City of Norfolk never owns the property and, therefore, has no access to the property and it is up to the prospective buyer to do their own research on the property prior to the auction.
